Birthday Blessings!

MP had a GREAT time at her party today! Thank you so very much to all of you who blessed us with your presence today. I am thanking God tonight for the gift on putting MP in our family. I am thankful for a birthmother who chose to give her daughter life. I am thankful for the foster parents who took good care of our daughter for several years. Praise God for His faithful provision and for His infinite mercy.

Thanks so much to my awesome sister-in-law for teaching me how to publish my pix in portrait postion :o)

Happy 7th Birthday, MP!

We are so grateful to God that MP was home with us to celebrate her 7th birthday! Her actual party will be this weekend, but my parents gave her a cookie cake and gift last Sunday. My sister and her husband blessed MP with a balloon bouquet on the same day!

(I haven't yet figured out how to get pictures in the right position!)

Random Thoughts and Pictures

These pictures are of recent creations by my kids. They are the inspiration
for an upcoming scrapbook layout called "Paper Technology."

We've been busy finishing up our school year. I am going to try a new approach to homeschooling next year. Utilizing both The Well Trained Mind and Homeschoolreview.com, I have developed a classical curriculum that I think will work well with the kids. I am also planning on beginning our school year in July and taking off the whole month of December. We'll see how it goes. I am excited none the less.

Other than schooling, the kids have been busy riding bikes. MP can now ride her big bike WITHOUT training wheels and is attempting "tricks." Butterbean is riding Biscuit's old bike WITH training wheels. Tiger Lilly loves learning new moves on her bike as well.
The kids are doing so well and are such interesting little people. They are constant inspiration for scrapbook layouts. Also, each of them has begun their own scrapbook. And, they are starting to think like a scrapbooker. Just this morning, as Biscuit was finishing a Scooby Doo puzzle, he said, "Mama, can I take some pictures, for a Scooby Doo layout?" Too sweet!
I hope all is well with you and yours. Please remember my parents in your prayers. God is indeed so good and so faithful. Take care.
